Thought I would spend a quick 5 minutes to share this. Seeing as most of us have websites at various stages a 'Coming Soon' page is always a good idea to let prospective visitors know a little about what your website will provide and when it will go live etc.
I love plugins in general and am always playing around with them. I have tried many Coming Soon/Under Maintenance plugins all with various features and functions however this one is my current favourite and is especially great for newbies: EZP Coming Soon Page
The beauty is it is so simple & quick to setup and the best thing is you can also collect names & emails from interested visitors, an invaluable tool. If you do end up creating a mailing list in the future these contacts can then be imported into your list so a proper head start for you. All this in the free version too.
