How to cope with info overload.
Hi Everyone. This would have to be the most informative site I've ever joined. Because of that I'm starting to suffer from info overload. For someone who has so called A.D.D. all the additional info can be quite distracting.
In the past the only way I've found I can get around this, is by writing down what I want to achieve, and the steps to get there. This is one reason I've found both the Get Started Here and Affiliate Bootcamp so helpful. All the steps are written down and easy to follow. It's an easy way to keep my mind focused on the things that need to be learnt and done in order to achieve creating a website and eventually an income.
I also wrote this blog to get more practice at writing on-line and because I wanted your thoughts on other things you do to achieve what you want to in WA. What are some of the daily things you do that might benefit others knowing about?

Hi Torben
It sounds like you are already very focused and have the strategies in place to make sure you succeed (and you clearly have the writing skills).
My expertise is creating content so the advice I would give is to write something every day because it keeps your mind ticking over creatively. It doesn't have to be specifically for your site - just anything.
The other piece of advice I would give is at the end of the day - leave something half written. It's often much easier to pick up an idea that you started rather than start on something new - (helps to avoid writer's block). :)Beverley
BIS -- I like the leave something half written part a LOT.
It takes so much energy to get that ball in motion, but if you come back next day with it already spinning -- you can hop right into work!

I have to agree with BIS. I actually envy how you are expressing yourself in your writing. I need to improve mine in that direction as well.
I am mostly following the steps through the boot camp right now and should be able to focus more time on that this weekend. I still work full time and have to get work done online as I can work on it around work hours, my son, and eating and sleeping. I make time as I can.
As far as daily things, I have seen where I haven't given some things enough time in the past. I am trying to calm that down and follow the instructions here. I will upgrade to yearly soon.
The only daily advice I have for others is to stay focused on the goal of developing a full time income online. Others do it, it can be done, but it is not necessarily easy. Some will have a stronger knack than others and succeed quicker. I think the training here is uniquely structured and will get you there. I plan to learn all I can here.
As I learned at an event I went to last year, failure is not an option and will only happen if you quit. I have chosen to find a way until I get there.
So, my daily advice for people is to stay focused on where they want to be and do the income producing activities to get there. We all simply have to get better at those skills and activities and be patient with trial and error.
Then, once you begin to have success, pay if forward.
