A Joint Venture, A Christmas Website and $550 in Sales in 3 days!

Christmas Website

2 days before Christmas I was approached by a business contact about doing a joint venture in an industry he has been on for over 30 years.

He had the expertise and I had the know how on how online.

This week our website has shifted yet again in momentum and has started to bring in revenue. $550 in the last 3 days in fact!

I spent most of my holidays setting the site up and adding content in between family time however it is now paying off, I'm pleased to say.

I had a great Christmas by the way and this did not get in the way as I worked on my own downtime and well into the early hours on some nights while others were out enjoying themselves.

What Makes A Succesful Partnership?

The partnership I have with my business partner works and is very fluid with the emphasis on teamwork.

The reason being I believe is that we both bring something different to the joint venture and that is the reason in my opinion that it works.

When you both bring different skill sets to a partnership you can get more work done.

If you are both bringing the same skills to the table then I believe that stops productivity in some ways as there will be a confilct of interests along the road somewhere.

In our case my skill set is what I have learnt at Wealthy Affiliate and as mentioned my business partners skill set is is his expertise within the industry our web site is set in.

If it was not for this platform I would not have the skills to bring to the table of my business partnership and what is good about it is that I have always wanted to do a project in the industry we are in.

I have gone on to learn a great deal about it and I am grateful for the opportunity to finally break into the Niche.

I am first to admit, I probably won't ever get to Vegas as I do not promote the referral system enough and I have found success in niche websites rather than getting those referrals although I have not given up.

I have just chosen to concentrate on niches instead and it's working for me.

Once my niche site is running smoothly and is more or less self sufficent I will spend more time on my referral site.

It is true you need to focus on one thing at a time rather than spread your time across various projects. We only have a set amount of time throughout a day so use it as efficently as you can and fit as much as you can into the time you have.

I'm glad I can share this with the community and I hope if you are a new member reading this that you have set your mind on the direction you want to go.
