Today, like every day, is a day for feeling happy!
Since 2013, the International Day of Happiness has been observed by the United Nations as a way to acknowledge the significance of happiness in the lives of people across the globe.
Happiness is a fundamental objective for humanity, and the United Nations General Assembly recognizes this by advocating for "a more inclusive, equitable, and balanced approach to economic growth that fosters the well-being and happiness of all individuals."
In 2015, the UN introduced the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to eradicate poverty, reduce inequality, and safeguard our planet - three crucial elements that contribute to overall well-being and happiness.
Today, like any day, we encourage everyone, regardless of age, as well as every classroom, business, and government to partake in the celebration of the International Day of Happiness.

I did not know that there was an international day for happiness.
It just so happens that I am currently listening to an audio book about happiness titled, "Happy For No Reason" 7 Steps to Being Happy from the Inside Out" by Marci Shimoff.
