Bought my first domain name!
I was thinking about my niche... I was trying to not overthink my niche. But it happens... the overthinking.
Starting a search for domain names in the usual places (godaddy, namecheap, 1&1). Yes, they have my preferred domain name, but it is a premium domain, and will cost me $680.
Ouch!
I don't even have a business yet. Talk about overcapitalizing. So I compromised and chose a name with a "my" in front. For $.99 from 1&1.

Here's the cool secret. A domain Is only as well liked as it is set up. You can turn yours into a domain, that say you ever chose to sell yours, you could sell it for a lot more than what they tried to sell the premium one to you for.
I'm not sure how it could be worth that much without your content in it.
You made the right decision I believe.
