Is wealthy affiliate for you?
Are you stuck? Registered your WA account, created your profile and then did nothing? Not sure what to do next? Or unsure if WA is really for you?
If you have, don't worry because a lot if not all faced this problem too.
Me included!!!
I'd like to let you know, right off the bat that Wealthy Affiliate is not for everyone! I won't try to convince you that this is for you like most marketers do. That decision should come wholly from you or else you won't get far.
What I can do though is list the things that I've learned when I was stuck and what made me overcome this common BUT very challenging stage. So here goes:
Wealthy affiliate is NOT for me because:
- I want to get rich quick and become a millionaire overnight
- I consider my job my "financial security"
- I dislike learning new things
- I'm not willing to invest time and effort
- I'm not willing to take action
On the other hand:
- I'm aware that 90% of get rich quick online turns into a scam
- I'm aware that I can lose my job anytime
- I don't know my passion
- I'm not good at writing content or blogging
- I'm tired of getting scammed online
- I'm very new to online business, I don't have a clue, I don't understand anything
- I've tried everything online and I still haven't tasted success
- I'm so desperate, my back is already against the wall, I NEED CHANGE!!
This is my online business journey in a nutshell. It took me years to identify these very small things that costed me time, money, and sanity. Once I saw what's wrong with me, I made every effort to really focus on building a reliable long-term online business.
Do the hard work now and reap your harvest later. Farmers know that the more seeds they sow, the more bountiful their harvest will be later.
It won't bear fruit tomorrow. You need to cultivate the soil, water it, fertilize it, protect it from bad weather conditions, protect it from bugs and pests, adapt with the climate changes. But regardless of all these hard work and challenges, a farmer won't stop caring for his crop and walk away.
Because he knows that one day, on that certain season, he will harvest and enjoy the fruits of his labor. Not only him, but his whole family, his neighbours and his community will also share in enjoying these fruits!
I hope this helped you assess what you really want or need and how willing are you to really make things happen. Only you can honestly answer this question :o)
