Day 5 of Wealthy Affiliates! Course 2 Finished. Recap of my Progress

I am so overjoyed with the fact that I've finished two courses in just a matter of 5 days. This is a huge accomplishment for me. In all honestly, I joined Wealthy Affiliate a year ago, I was only premium for 2 months before my financials started giving up. Additionally, my studies were keeping me occupied so I didn't even managed to finish course 1 i think.
When I tried to come back to Wealthy Affiliate. I wasn't sure whether this was what I really want to do again and spend 1/2 of my allowance on. I'm 19, about to be 20 and am still in the middle of applying to college so I don't earn much. My work is in startups and as co founder, I don't take much either. So, in addition to losing my own password and email of my previous account, I decided to make a new one. And try the trial period to make sure that I can actually commit and at least finish the trial lessons before taking the premium.
On the first day, I gotta admit I was lazy to get started because I was thinking how I already went through this one and revisions are always boring. That was till I got a phone call from my brother that my mother broke her thigh bone in an accident and she was in the hospital. I felt useless that I couldn't help my mom with her financial problems, not even by paying the hospital bills. My mother's pain drove me back to Wealthy Affiliate and spent the entire night on this site. Before I knew it, the sun was going to rise in a couple of hours and I've already finished my free lesson.
One course in just one night. I was hooked. Motivated, ready to earn some dough. From then I committed to this and started working. There are times I did get lazy, especially when researching and writing the content. But I made it through and 5 days isn't a bad deal to me, given that I didn't even managed to come this far in my last 2 months premium membership.
Right now, the Niche that I'm working on is the Blockchain Technology. Basically Bitcoins and Ethereums. The craze nowadays. I've been really hooked onto this technology since June when I discovered it because of the huge potential it have. I'm also Burmese so this kind of trust enabling technology is much needed in developing nations. So I got to researching and wanted to spread the words with others about it.
I've been getting my most non-tech friends involved and teaching them about Blockchain so I was excited to do the same here.
So here's my plans and goals in the upcoming months :
- In 3 months time, my website will be fully set up, with the design I want. Hoping to get some earnings, I don't care how much but just some evidence that this can be a source of income.
- In 6 Months, I want to earn hundreds and have actual product being sent to me for reviews. I think that will be cool. Maybe even getting invited to blockchain conventions. Will love to see that happen.
This maybe Stretchgoals for now but its better to dream big and land on the moon than to dream small and stay on Earth. So to all my affiliates out there, dream big and work hard! We are all in this together : ).
