I owned a website, that I now have hosted with WA, that was and is on Waybackmachine about a year. I know there is ways of transferring all the data to my new site. But here is

When you say salvage "parts" is that entire posts or just parts of posts? If it's entire posts, then use a redirect on the old pages as well as posting the content on your new site. That will let Google know that you own the originals as well as the new place where it is appearing.

I have about 500 articles posted...just not sure I want to fill up my new site with all that data. I can copy and paste data out of Wayback, just not sure where to place the data after words. So Google knows it mine, yet I would like redirect some of my new articles back to reference pages that would have salvage before the scrappers come in.
For reference Wayback is the junkyard for people who salvage data and domains. It is gathered there by their crawlers.

Yeah, I know what Wayback is, but I'm also wondering if all that content is evergreen. I know you don't want to lose all that content, but I'd think that you might be better to adapt that cut & paste.

I have a couple Ideas...but if you owned it, what would you do to monetize it?

I had a domain that was similar to a big company. Their lawyers initiated a name dispute challenge through ICAAN. I did not fight it.

Personally, I think it would be asking for trouble to use a domain with google in it. I could be wrong.

I would make it an SEO site.
