Practice makes perfect
Hi everyone!
As I was working on creating another article for my website, I received and email telling me that one of my article have been indexed by Google.
I was very happy bout that. When I checked the title of the article, it was the one I published 5 days ago! I have articles on my website that have been waiting for 3 months to get indexed and now the post I wrote 5 days ago gets indexed!
This got my thinking.
And when I take a look at the post that have been indexed so far, they re mostly articles for which I searched keywords.
Oh no! do you think you just read what you think you read?!?!?!
Oh yes. I plead guilty. When I first started, I thought looking for keywords was a wast of time because, like they tell you in the training, you content contains multiple keywords naturally. So at some point I thought to myself, why bother?
Now, even though finding relevant, low QSR keywords aren't my favorite part of creating an article, it sure gives me more ideas on how I will structure my content. And it's fun how sometimes you can find little gems of a keyword, you know, the kind that have less than 30 QSR but has over 1,000 searches per month and can bring over 1,000 visitors.
Yes, they exist. Probably not for every topic of your niche, but worth taking a few minutes to see if there is one available!
So to everyone who doesn't understand why it is important to search for keywords before creating your article, well, you have it here. It will help your content get indexed faster and it will help you get organic traffic to your website faster.
I think 5 days is the fastest that one of my posts have been indexed so far. I still have over 17 posts waiting to be found. Maybe I should revisit them and try to look for a good, relevant keyword to insert. Who knows!
I have been looking for keywords to give me ideas and to create my content. I'm getting better t how to search the perfect keyword.
As they say: "Practice makes perfect".
So don't skip on your keywords search, it's totally worth it.
Take care everybody and let me know if you ever wrote articles without searching for good keywords.
Cheers,
Cynthia
