The things that make me happy are.
I had some time today to go wondering around, or shopping if I so pleased, as I had just closed a great deal today. My brick-n-mortar business monthly goal has been met by today so it is a relief and traditionally as a reward for this achievement, I'll just take the afternoon off.
I used to love shopping and have amassed quite a bit in the past. Things that seem to fill a void in me, an emptiness stemming from not having clarity of purpose, I suppose. But I have grown quite a bit since then, with my meditations, energy work, law of attraction, hypnosis (and setting life goals)...as I view the lovely shop displays, a sentence popped into my mind, "The things that make me happy are..." and I filled in the blanks with "...spending time with my kids, learning more self-development stuff, cooking, baking, writing, music..."
And so, as those lovely items on sales called to me, the images in my mind was instead filled with my quirky, funny kids, a recipe waiting to be discovered, jazzy music that stir my emotions and wafting scents of luscious cakes possibly appearing in my oven. I am stirred with a passion to return home to do all that and be all that.
Yes, bills and debts do have to be paid, and once in a while, you'll get comments that "you are not achieving your potential" and you need to "do whatever it takes". And on occasion when your frenemy drives by in her covetable Porsche Panamera and it feels more like 'what you desire', I pray I'll soon get that beam of 'what makes me happy' from divine intervention and the interplay of gratefulness, happiness, contentment and passion rises within me that rivals all my desires. And in that very moment, my success and abundance is assured!

Awesome post. I just have to say that the things that make us happy are the things that could make us the most successful in business.
That is why we suggest that people follow their passion in business, it makes the journey to success that much more of an exciting one and makes building a business fun and exciting.
The key is choosing one niche though, don't try to do too much at once as it only takes ONE niche (and website) to be very successful online.
