My Winter Wonderland-the Great Plains
So, today it's 22 Dec and the weather outside is a pleasant 12 degrees but it feels like -6 degrees. On Christmas Eve it will be 13 for the Highs and -15 for the lows, and then Christmas it will be a whooping -4 degrees as a high and a low of -17 degrees.
Welcome to the North Dakota plains or the Tundra as I refer to it. It is going to be a cold weekend and next week it will not get above single digits.
I hope that it is much warmer wherever you are because I don't think there are too many places in the U.S that will be this cold this weekend. Anyhow I just thought I would share my winter wonderland Christmas weekend with everyone.
So when you think you are cold, just think of me in the Tundra, this should warm you right up.
I wish everyone in the community a Merry Christmas and spend some quality time with your family and friends because this is the most important thing in life.

I'm feeling guilty. I was complaining today because it was only 55 degrees and I had to wear a jacket. I reaffirmed to myself that could never live in the cold again. But, would love some snow for Christmas ...just for the day. Lol

I lived 18 years in Saskatchewan. I know all about "Tundra". You have to look forward to Spring.
We are going to Lake Placid next week and it's only forecast to be around 3 degrees the day we get there. They are forecast to get over a foot of snow before we get there. I'm looking forward to the snow and skiing. :-)
you can always locate to South Florida where the coldest you can get is in the 30s or 40s at night but very rarely and when the temperature drops in lasts no longer than 1 or 2 days
Not for another 18 months when my wife can PCS from here hopefully to South Carolina.

Yikes...that's cold!! You could not pay me enough to live in those kind of temperatures! lol I don't like being really hot, but I hate being really cold even more! Stay warm and have a wonderful holiday!

On vacation in Southern California. High today about 65 but it's going to get cold tonight. Down around 40. Merry Christmas.
