Intermittent Fasting Before and After
Okay, as you recall from my last blog I told everyone that I was following my intermittent fasting of 16-8 that is 16 hours fasting and 8 hours eating normal meals.
This has worked for me so far and the weight has been coming off gradually and steadily. So, here is my intermittent fasting before and after. On Tuesday at 8:30 PM I began fasting and I weighed in at 238 lbs.
- I drank water and diet Pepsi don't hate
- I worked out regularly
- I eat nothing until Friday at 12:00 PM
- I fasted for 65 hours
- And I weighed in at 233.2 lbs.
- Lost 5 pounds
Well, let me tell you this was one of the hardest things that I have done in a long time. The hunger came and went but was most strong when I had to cook and smell dinner for my family.
My motivation and pure will power I believe kept me going for this long, this and water plenty of water. Would I do it again, yes, but probably for only 48 hours. I plan on doing 2 a year. This I believe will help cleanse my system and build my immune system up.
Do I recommend it, you bet but if you are on medication go through your doctor first for the proper guidance. Other than that I believe 48 hours should be the number needed for the body to accomplish everything it needs to and set you up for success.
What did I learn?
I learned that if I can go 65 hours without food and control my body I can control the outcome of whether or not I truly become successful in doing this. I believe that you are in charge of your success, you are the master of yourself. Don't underestimate yourself in any of this, Yes,
- It will be tough at times
- It will not show profit right away
- You will suffer with loved ones comments on your website
- You will have to hear from your friends,"Have you made any money yet?"
But don't give up you are miles ahead of them because you are getting online to further your business not to hang out or waste time. You are there for a purpose and that is to succeed were others have failed.
What is the difference between a winner and a quitter, persistence and determination a can do attitude that tells you to finish it. So;
- Do all your classes daily
- Help everyone that you can as often as you can
- Make lots of friends
- Climb and reach your peak!
- Never let the doubters and time wasters engulf you!
- Know that you have a community that is here to listen and help you, when needed.
So keep reaching for the stars because one day you will be one of those stars and all the nay Sayers will still be wasting their time and wondering why they can't succeed.
Happy New Year to All,
JesusB

Awesome, i tried intermittent fasting myself this year to adapt my eating schedule to have lunch earlier and it has been awesome.
Keep going,
Benjamin
I have been doing the 16 - 8 since you first wrote about this I think on the 7th of December. I only weigh myself once a month so I don't go crazy haha.
I will let you know how it goes.

Awesome, it works just stick with it, it's free and all you need to do is not eat.

Sound advice Jesus, finding that balance and taking action from that place will bring results.
a very inspiring post and me personally I actually do IF 16/8 but I have never gone more than 16 hours. Keep it up and I hope the best for you in 2018
You should try 24 hour and work up to 48 hours 2 times a year, it is awesome. But keep up the great work.

Whatever you do KEEP IT UP. The pleasures of eating ae fleeting. The pleasures of fasting are lasting!
I started Keto last week with intermittent fasting...so far so good! Now I must focus on writing!!!
Don't think of it as writing, think of it as sharing something special with someone you care about and let all your ideas flow freely. This is what it's all about, we always talk to one another, now all you are doing is writing it down, nothing more.
So go write it down instead of just the talking.
Love what you do,
JesusB
That's a good way of looking at writing! I like to write but sometimes I get overwhelmed by the research especially since I have many other things to do.
Don't get overwhelmed, you control what you do or don't do. Take one step at a time, put one foot in front of the other, small bites and soon you will accomplish it.
