My WA Ranking Looks Like the Stock Market!

Or maybe like a heart monitor gone crazy.

Up and down, my ranking goes.

Up and down, my life goes. Somedays I get a lot done, other days none at all.

The numbers are only an indication of participation in WA, which, I admit, is very weak these days. Too busy building websites and doing training, and lax in reading posts and making replies.

There are so many things to do at WA, and I have yet to figure out how to do them all. It doesn't help that I'm single minded and once I start a job, I charge ahead until its done, and neglect the rest.

The learning curve at WA keeps on rising. The more I learn, the less I know. Just when my website seems ready to go, there is more to do. One day, I'll get the hang of this!

I am about ready to launch my fourth book and a website to go along with it. The main reason I joined WA is because I was looking for a way to promote my books. I was rather skeptical if this was the place, considering all the hovels on the internet that give you bad advice and take your money!

There is a bunch of gobbledy-gook advice for promoting books on the internet, and I was at my wits end as to how to go about it. The "experts" tell you, but they don't show you, and expect you to go it on your own - or you can pay them a bunch of money and you may not get what you pay for.

Well, we will see how this website does! I am very proud of it. And it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

You know, SSL certificates, site speed, SEO tricks, plug-ins, and all the other "essentials" that go along with running a website. The things that run in the background that WA takes care of for us (or shows us how to do it).

Today, my WA ranks are rising up again after I spent some time reading posts and replying.

I would love to hear how you do it. How do you keep track of all the people you follow, read their blogs, offer trainings, and stay connected? I have an inbox dedicated spefically for WA posts, and it is always oerwhelmingly full, full, full.

Such is life. I wish I was living in a mountain retreat with no phones or interruptions...

One day, when my websites and books start making money, I will join the others who tell us of their glorious success stories. They have exactly the same tools the rest of us have. There is no reason not to succeed at WA.

Build your website in a certain way and you will have success.

Not to worry. My heart is healthy - and the stock market - well, some days it is better to put your money under your mattress (or in a Swiss Bank Account).
