I am on lesson 10 of 10 in Course 2 - Ambassador Program. According to the lesson I should see a feather near the top of my page and a drop down menu that includes "New Blog Pos
Click on the pen to the top right of this page. From the drop down menu choose "write a new blog."
On thd top bar of your dashboard on your website you will see one that says new or add click on it and then new post.
How do I create a new blog post?

Thanks all! It turns out the lesson was an earlier version and the feather has now been turned into a pen on the website.
Click on the pen to the top right of this page. From the drop down menu choose "write a new blog."
On thd top bar of your dashboard on your website you will see one that says new or add click on it and then new post.
I copy and paste text only from Word in WP, but the formatting is double spaced and I cannot find a paragraph formatting option in the toolbar at the top.
Hi Curt, if you want to format in WP, click on page layout and adjust the spacing (before and after, the default setting for after is normally 10 pt. Set that to 0.
This also depends on the version of word you are using as well. In some versions you'll see the double spaced setting, change that to single.

Hi Curt, the paragraph formatting is at the tip top where the HTML tags are. Just click on that tab and scroll up and you'll the paragraph setting. Hope this helps.
Vanessa - Thanks but all I see is the Paragraph drop down that allows me to choose different font sizes in my headings. Still searching for something that will allow me to adjust paragraph spacing.
Not sure if this helps, but I have learned when facing that in other applications to place the curser at the end of the first sentence - hit the delete key which brings the second sentence back to the first, then hold the shift key down and hit Enter. This will give you a single space when you need one. This is on a PC, not Mac.
Hope that is what you mean and that it will help.

Thanks Fred, that does work but I have to go each line in the post one at a time to make that work. There has got to be a way to format text in WP in one process, I just haven't found it yet.
