Starting out with Wealthy Affiliate
New adventures!
I'm excited to begin (in earnest) a new adventure into earning an income online. I've purchased hosting and started two fledgling blogs prior, but never saw them through, and I let my domain registrations expire within the first year.
My short-term goal is proof of concept--create an initial site that generates consistent traffic and monetize it to cover the cost of the premium WA membership. My mid-term goal is to supplement our household income so that my wife does not have to work, and we cover our bills and necessary expenses. It would mean the world to her to stay home with our 19 month old daughter (our first child).
My long-term goal would be to not only cover our costs, but earn enough to get back on track with seriously paying down our debts and afford a more fitting place to live, while continuing my full-time day job. Eventually, down I'd like to get to and keep building a flourishing full-time income from a portfolio of sites, without the need for a traditional day job.
Thank you in advance for answers to any questions I post. I look forward to the day I can start answering questions more than I ask them!

Welcome to the family Curtis!
Wise decision!
First, you should define your goals.
If you want to create your own niche sites, I suggest you to follow the OEC training. In this case you should start here: Online Entrepreneur Certification - Getting Started Level 1 If you want to focus on promoting WA then you should follow the Affiliate Bootcamp training, starting here: Getting Started! And an upgrade is highly recommended to get access to all the benefits WA has to offer!
Godspeed!
