If You Really Want Something…
I started my local marketing business a few month ago, and I was interested in finding new partners and customers.
In October I went to the Beauty&Style exhibition in Budapest.
Everyone was there who matters in the beauty industry.
Well-known cosmetic brands, famous hairdressers, and so on...
At the end of the exhibition hall was a simple stand.
Exotic products from Shea butter to Hibiscus oil, displayed in puritan simplicity.
It was so different, so simple and natural that I couldn't miss talking to the exhibitor.
She was a young girl from Ghana.
She came from the other end of the world to find customers for her handmade products.
She has never been in Hungary before.
She put the oils into empty plastic bottles. Oils, that are expensive raw materials for cosmetic companies on the European market.
She said she wanted to bring more, but half of the products were not allowed to cross the border. She still had to fly back and forth twice.
It was shocking and at the same time wonderful.
I'm so grateful to her, because she wakes me up.
Because she showed me that if you want to achieve something, you have to start and go down the road.
Even if you are scared. Even if you don't know what's waiting for you.
Does not matter packaging.
It doesn't matter if you already have a website.
It doesn't matter if you know anyone.
There will be problems that you have to solve. And there will be opportunities that will lead you to your goal.
Don't wait for everything to be perfect. Just take the first step NOW.
