Starting my new journey towards seeing progress and success

I'm so glad that my effort starts to pay off! After only 7 days at Wealthy Affiliate as a Premium member I can see results! I joined WA community in September.Back then I was still a free member.In a week or so I managed to finish Phase One of the training and to set up a website on a free domain .

The training was so well-structured and so through that I understood very quickly what I had to do.The task checkboxes measured my progress,so that at anytime I was able to know where I am.

All things were sweet until Phase One was finished. That was in October,if I remember well. I asked myself : " What am I going to do next?". I wanted more of that quality content helping me to create a viable business . Kyle had the answer : upgrade to premium to access all the website's features .

To upgrade or not to upgrade,that was the question

It seemed a bit challenging to me to decide whether or not to upgrade.I read the presentation of all premium advantages and I remained with the following conclusion :50 bucks is too cheap for how much value this site offers can have an immense ROI.So I made the life-changing decision to become a premium member .

My vision about working and learning

My dream is that someday I will live the life I have always wished , free from a 9 to 5 schedule,to afford almost anything I want and to do whatever I like. It doesn't mean that I necessarily want to become a billionaire,but I really want to achieve financial independence .

I want that for real, not to say something like:" hey man I'm having job in X domain and do the A,B,C things for a fixed paycheck of several thousand lei,dollars ,pounds, euros",whatsoever.

I think that freedom is my core value.I really hate the constraints put by the society the never ending story " go to school,get a job,retire at 60 or sixty-five years after 30 years in the workforce " .

It doesn't mean want to deny the importance of school in our society,as it makes it progress,but the nasty thing about it is that it makes you a docile slave and work for others' dreams.Parents ,relatives, teachers,all reinforce the same thinking pattern which points to mediocrity.It doesn't mean like this idea at all.

1. Does school really make you successful?

There is some kind of misunderstanding related to success. The majority of people think that if you have higher education you'll have success. Not really.Knowledge is power bur what you really need to know is how to sell it or how to use it in your advantage .

2. How do we learn in the 21st century?

Nowadays you are no longer dependent on formal education to complete your knowledge.Thanks to Google we can now freely access information, which can help us in mastering a certain topic.

There are websites,You Tube videos,online courses on Skillshare or Udemy,now we have so much more information to digest. Not all we learn on the internet is really useful,but if you really know what you want you will surely be able to become an expert in a certain field.

I really enjoy learning online because it frees you from the boredom of the standard school schedule.As for Wealthy Affiliate,is incredibly important to stick up to the tasks and to persevere . Now you are building the "tower of success" brick by brick .

I would really like that when I work to enjoy what I do and not feel actually the work.I would like the effort to fulfill my inner self. When learning, I want curiosity to drive me forward and help me finish for example,an online course .It doesn't mean want to learn just because your parents or teachers tell you to do so. The new way of learning makes things so much fun indeed.

Choosing premium

Coming back to my story,I was in a dilemma in regard to the purchase of the membership.Seeing the multiple advantages the premium membership I decided to upgrade just before the winter holiday (from December 22 to January 10).I decided to do so because It doesn't mean have to think too much about high school .

Why to learn to type faster ?

Before becoming a premium member, I did something very useful for my progress.I learned to type faster by using Ratatype.com, the best site in my opinion to learn how to type starting from home keys asdf and jkl. The Ratatype team carefully designed the lessons for learners so that they can save time .

On the screen you see the keyboard with all the keys colored differently depending on which finger you need to use in order to access the specific key. The website states that if you improve your typing speed by 20 % you will save if you write 3 hours a day 21 days a year . That's insane ! So definitely check this site out!

So,on the 21st of December I purchased for 20 bucks the premium membership for the first month.WA is so awesome ! They kept that $20 offer two months after the seven remaining "limited offer "days had ended!

Taking full advantage of the premium features

The first thing I did was to buy the domain name.I had chosen my niche several weeks ago so I didn't encounter so many problems in finding a name suitable for what I wanted .

Even when I had problems I asked people on live chat or sent private messages to one of the ambassadors,which really helped me move forward though the process.So , as an aspiring affiliate marketer don't hesitate to ask ! Your problems can get quickly fixed.

Choosing the theme was really challenging.As for my specific niche, I didn't find at first a suitable design.Eventually, I picked up a simple and versatile theme,because I considered that option much more feasible.

I moved on with the training and I wrote more articles, as the training mentioned that "content is king ! " . I inserted more images in my posts,so my visitors will be more engaged in reading more content.without feeling bored or tired .

What was the most satisfying thing until now ?

Google finally indexed my site !

This achievement happened today and made my seven days or more of Wealthy Affiliate worth it.My work has been finally taken into consideration ! I bet you'll feel the same way as me the first time you do this.

To achieve this thing as fast as I did you need to do certain things.Firstly ,type Google search console and log in.Then, you need to prove that you are the owner of the site.To pass the verification process you need to download a file on your Wordpress site.

I didn't understand how to do that,but luckily there are other methods through which you can verify that you own the site. I used the one with the meta tag.You copy-paste it in your editor( before that request from SiteSuport permission to the Editor ).

You paste the anchor tag in the theme header file immediately after head tag in HTML.You move on to verify your site on Google Search Console.After the successful completion of the verifying process you add the sitemap to the console by just writing after your site's name ( it's already shown on the screen) sitemap.XML.This last step will help Google bot find your site and "crawl " through your pages.

So instead of waiting weeks or months to get your page indexed by Google,you should definitely try this method to see results in a matter of hours,if not minutes.

What comes next?

Hard work and then success.If you do everything you are told by Kyle in the training it is inevitable to succeed. Firstly build your website/s and be prepared for greatness within the online world !

Wealthy affiliate opens the doors to millions of possibilities. From blogging to e-commerce,affiliate marketing,dropshipping and many more.Just dedicate time and effort to achieve your long term goals, as you already have the tools.
