Anyone know how to create a directory parent page?

Manually create the pages and then manually create your menus. Top Level will be your home page -----> States -----> Cities.
Thanks John, I have done that but I am wondering if there is a way to place a ton of city links into a state without doing it one by one.
You're probably looking at some very bespoke systems to get what you want to achieve. There maybe plugins that could do that. You will need to have a search. Search along the lines of auto menu structure or something like that.

Is anyone else having issues with the site comments tool. I have been writing comments and no matter how detailed, engaging and long they are, every single one is getting rejec
Kyle just said in another complain about the same issue: send them the exact text of the comment so that they can judge what the problem is.
There was another blog about this today cole. There must be a phrase or something that is setting this off. I remember in the past a few members were doing the copy and paste thing. Perhaps the algorithm is to stringent now
Me too, boo :( My comments are deffo unique though, and more than 50 words etc - do I just keep clicking to see if it's a glitch?
I've had this issue a couple times. But usually, it accepts it after I change up some of the wording. I did a lot of comments yesterday and I didn't have any issues. You may want to try switching up the first part and the last part of the comment and see if it'll accept it. This usually works for me.
Sincerely,
Jeanette
Oops, your comment is not unique?

Hey everyone, so I understand that having all of your pages full of affiliate links is not good for rankings. However, can anyone shed any light on how much is 'too much.' Is h
Yes, you can have a link in every post but don't go crazy. Try not to go over about three links per post or page.
This largely depends on the niche. If you promote WA you can funnel everything to your main WA review and make site without many affiliate links.
If you promote Amazon stuff then you can have tens links in one post, there is no way around it.
Thanks for the response. Sorry what does no follow mean? Also, Kyle seems to say quite often that having too many affiliate links is bad for google rankings.
No follow is a way of telling Google not to follow your link. I use Thrive Content Builder to create my content and I simply have to check the "no follow" box. I am not sure how to do it with the WordPress editor. I am sure that you can google it and find out.
Best,
Jv

When someone tries to make a purchase from my site through woocommerce, an error message comes up that says you cannot proceed any further without java script or cookies. Anyon
Does the "someone" have JavaScript and Cookies turned off in their browser; or are they going incognito?
The reason I ask, is this is a distinct possibility, and most commerce sites require both.
------------
That said, there are a number of reports about WP SpamShield causing this problem, and when it is deactivated, things go back to normal. So you might test that and see, Cole.
Then check out WP SpamShield's troubleshooting guide linked in their Wordpress dot org forum, here:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/javascript-and-cookie-errror-when-filling-order-form
Thanks Fran, they do have javascript and cookies enabled, which is why I am so confused. I have deactivated it and will see if that helps. Is it risky to have WP spamshield disabled? Thanks for your help.
Well, I would say you want WP SpamShield activated. It's not unusual to have a plugin conflict; but in this case, the conflict is known. Check out that WP SpamShield wordpress forum link (from my previous post); because the plug in rep there suggests their troubleshooting guide, which is linked in his reply.
I haven't read their guide; but whatever is in it may resolve your problem; so that you can have the best of both worlds.
If that doesn't solve it, use some targeted search terms in google for woo commerce and wp spamshield and the javascript error, and see if you can't discover how someone else put this to rest.
(Of course it may be a different conflict, not related to woo-commerce—this is a possibility.)
Please post back here once you've resolved it. If you have the problem, you know someone else will have the same problem.
I have a good feeling that you will find a solution, Cole.
