It May Not Be Good Deal Stretching your Medications Out!

Yesterday I finally made it in to see my doctor after running out of my thyroid medication. I stretched it as long as I could until I had no choice but make an appointment to see my doctor.

I have a low or underactive Thryoid condition, so not sure how I have been getting along without my medication and still have energy to play with my granddaughter but thank God I am back on them starting today.

Like many others I just dislike going to doctors just for them to tell me what I already know but it is a must or no meds.

Anyway, while at the doctors as you know they do the normal routine, weight, blood press and nurse associates comes in and ask why you are there and takes other information down. I also have a inner ear infection that I mentioned to the nurse associate and to my lady nurse that takes care of me. No they did not check my ear, just ordered me some motion sickness medication since I described the dizziness I am having...wow most of the time they check throat and ears but not this time they just took my word.

I knew I was losing weight and that to me is a great thing. I have lost over 20 pounds in a year or less. With thyroid issues and me not taking my medication I would have thought I would gain 20 pounds instead of losing so yeah for me.

I have no real diet method (I just don't eat much anymore -- but I still like to snack)- What I need to know is how to stir up more energy without weight gain so that I can continue running after my 18 month old granddaughter.

I can say since I have been watching my granddaughter I am more active now than I was when I actually had an office job(believe me, taking care of children at home is a huge job). I walk more, I run more (after my granddaughter), I jump with her on the tramopline and boy does this wear me out that now I just need to go to bed before 10 since I get her bright and early each morning Monday thru Friday.

I just had this on my mind and wanted to share with whomever cares to listien.

So if anyone has any idea how to get more energy to stay up with 18 month old please by all means let me know because I am not getting any younger....LOL!
