At this point in my life I was looking for some work as software developer, but, every interviewer says the same thing. You are over qualified. What they really mean is that I have a lot of experience, and that experience is expensive. They rather employ a younger developer that is fresh from college and is a lot cheaper. Over the years I have read about being a business person and that it is the best way to take control over your finances. As long as you are trading your time for dollars, there is always a limit on how much you can make. With a business on the other hand you can leverage your time, and resources. I think that the fact that I am being rejected by companies and recruiters for being "overqualified" is the way the Universe is giving me a message, and the message is that I must establish my own business. So here I am, I just started into the Premium program of Wealthy Affiliate. Right now I have no other project on my plate. I have the time to invest. It is my intention to absorb every single piece of information, every lesson, every example, everything and give a 100% effort towards building a solid foundation, and a solid business.

Besides building a new business there is also the opportunity to give something unique to other people. For instance an online business provides the chance to show videos, lectures, ebooks etc. of value for somebody that needs that value. As an online entrepreneur I see that you can use your knowledge and experience to illustrate a solution to a problem that other people might have. Probably somebody is having a hard time with a specific software routine, an algorithm or a block of code. You post a video with your particular way of solving the situation, and maybe many other people will be given at least one possible way to resolve their problem. I believe that is satisfying in and of itself.

En este punto de mi vida estaba buscando trabajo como desarrollador de software, pero cada entrevistador dice lo mismo. Estás sobre calificado. Lo que realmente quieren decir es que tengo mucha experiencia, y esa experiencia es cara. Prefieren emplear a un desarrollador más joven que acaba de llegar de la universidad y es mucho más barato. Además de construir un nuevo negocio, también existe la oportunidad de dar algo único a otras personas. Por ejemplo, un negocio en línea ofrece la oportunidad de mostrar videos, conferencias, libros electrónicos, etc. de valor para alguien que necesita ese valor. Como emprendedor en línea, usted puede usar su conocimiento y experiencia para ilustrar una solución a un problema que otras personas puedan tener. Probablemente alguien esté teniendo dificultades con una rutina de software específica, un algoritmo o un bloque de código. Publique un video con su forma particular de resolver la situación, y tal vez a muchas otras personas se les dará al menos una forma posible de resolver su problema.
