What People Think Matters

Why are so many obsessed with the Food Network, Biggest Loser, and the likes is because we all want to look and FEEL good. No one likes being deconditioned or out of shape, yet most don't take the steps necessary to make a difference in their lives to attain a fit lifestyle.

That's why I am so happy to have discovered Wealthy Affiliate. Most of my blog post come straight from the heart and life experience. I continue to do research on certain topics to stay current but my passion is helping people who help themselves. It's not callous, it is just a fact I have witnessed over and over since 1989 when I began my personal training career.

The reason why I chose Weight Loss For Mommy's is because of my mom. She's no longer with us physically but her spirit lives deep inside of me. She raised 5 boys and 1 girl to become caring, loving, kind, and compassionate beings. My mom sacrificed everything for us and when I reflect on how much she did for us - I stand in amazement.

Over 40? Moms Pay Attention

Most know that women deal witht this thing called Estrogen which loves to promote fatty cells. Did you know that women over 40 generally produce MORE testosterone than ESTROGEN? That means the best is yet to come.

Additionally, Leptin Resistance comes into play. This comes with age and it cripples even very active women over 40. When your body is operating at maximum efficiency, leptin curves your appetite making it almost impossible for you to eat or crave foods.

Unfortunately, most will face leptin resistance making it difficult if not impossible to lose weight because the message the brain get is that it needs more food, and not the good kind either!

Where Do I Start?

Mindset. Never give in to a challenge. The challenge is your pathway to your answer. Think about it - once you get past your biggest challenge, what else is there? Victory. If you want to up your game you need to be around successes not those naysayers and negative folks. Don't accept your circumstance - stand up to it and get after it.

If your car broke down who would you call? Hopefully a competent mechanic. I have heard many say, I will hire a personal trainer once I lose some weight. That's like waiting to see your doctor until you feel better. Get after it and create the best version of you. You deserve it and I am sure someone is counting on you to be the very version of you.
