Postponing Journey at Wealthy Affiliate Amid Covid 19 Lay-Off

Hey Affiliates,

With a heavy heart I must announce to you all that I have to postpone my journey as a premium member of Wealthy Affiliate.

As a server/bartender I was among the many laid-off during this pandemic.And even though I am experience a slight amount of melancholy for my temporary job loss, I'd rather look at the positives side to all this by recognizing that this action will help save the lives of many elderly/comprimised who are at risk because of this pandemic.

Their lives are too important to feel any sense of self-pity, instead we must take all precautions to keep them safe at all costs.

Also, I would like to leave you all with some tips that may help keep your local restaurants stay above water during these trying times.

1. Order take-out from you favorite restaurants- Not only will this help the restaurants stay afloat but will also help those that are monetizing delivery services such as UberEats, Favor or Lift.
2. Inform restaurant staff about Unemployment Benefits- Due to Covid 19, restaurant staff qualify for Unemployment Benefits and can temporally supplement income for the time being while remaining in quarantine.
3. Reach out to restaurant owners- I have been in the industry for years and know just how much these res truant owners love their community. My heart goes out to them because this pandemic will indefinitely ruin some of the smaller resturant owners permanently. Reach out to them and be a good friend during this period, they need us right now.

That being said, let's remain positive and help out our community to the best of our ability.

I plan on re-joining the premium club just as soon as this economic collapse has passed.Thank you to all the wonderful affiliates who have inspired me this far. Love you all!!!
