Aging and Starting Anew
I was cleaning the gutters last weekend and miy wife came out into the yard and told me to get down I was too old to be on the roof. Old? When did that happen? I haven't had any practice at being old. No lessons, no tutorials, no webinars - - - it must have crept up on me at night while sleeping. Have I been driving around with my turn signal on? What time is the 'early bird special'? This is serious stuff!
Along came Kyle and Carson's creation 'Wealthy Affiliate'! I feel likie a first grader with so much to learn and this awesome community to interact with. I think I will follow the Satchel Paige quote..."How old would you be if you didn't know how old your are?" I have read your blogs and visited your websites and I am impressed. In fact, I have spent so much time following you, I have not spent enough time training and that is changing today. Thanks to everyone and I am going to enjoy the journey.
Best regards,
Robert

Many things change start to change as we get older, for sure. Some we notice, others we never see coming. We can only live every day and give thanks for our many blessings of that day. As for myself, WA would be listed as one of my 1st and best blessings. I agree Robert , enjoy the journey.
Hello Robert, thank you very much for the follow. I admire your attitude, it is inspirational. Just remember that age is just a number. Anyway you have a blessed day and I will be rooting for you and your training...bye...
I'm with you here Robert,
Although I'm not "old" at 57, I did feel like I was drifting without any direction before WA came along.
I didn't think there'd be anything new in my life to learn and wasn't sure what to do with myself but now it's given me a new impetus and I'm taking hold of it with both hands.
Keep on going for it Robert, I will be!

I think more than a few of us are aging and starting anew here at WA, myself included. But old? That's another story, lol. Some days I'll admit it outright; other days I tell people age is just a number - depends on how I feel that day, lol. But you are right, learning here at WA has given me so much more than just something to do or earning a second stream of income - it has literally given new purpose and I think that helps keep you young.

You are only as old as you feel and WA does tend to make you feel younger and so many other things.
I have had the same issue as you on following more than doing and spent most of the day today trying to get back on track. We have to remember why we are here but also support people where we can and where we have knowledge as we take our journey.
Hooray for the opportunity!
Yea...it's important to stay focused, but I do find it inspirational on what others are doing here. Good look on your venture.
Best always,
Robert
