Time to re-engage!

I am not one to make excuses ... it is simply a fact. I allowed distractions to get the best of me and spent most of the summer focused on everything else, and guess what? No one looked at my blogs or websites. Here is a huge surprise: no traffic = no affiliate sales or sign-ups! Not such a surprise, is it?

It is funny, I think of the people who I work with me in my direct sales business, and they will come to me disappointed when they aren't making thousands of dollars in the first few months after joining. I will go over with them what they have done, and in 99.9% of the cases the answer is nothing. They however were expecting get rich quick, and yet without having put in any work will say to me "your product/service doesn't work - it is a scam!"

Affiliate marketing is no different ... it simply can not work, can not build a viable stream of revenue without giving it consistent effort on a daily basis. All legitimate businesses take hard work, discipline and focus.

I am back. Full force. With daily practice on building my websites and brand, doing the necessary things to build my audience to drive traffic to the programs, products or services that I am working with as an affiliate. If I am not regularly communicating, I can't build trust AND traffic. I must have both to be successful and it will not come quickly, yet it is worth the long term build as I am in this process for both a long term solution and a personal brand integrity that I want to develop. It is time to re-engage and build.
