First blog on Wealthy Affiliate
Hello everyone, I've only been with Wealthy Affiliate for less than a week and I've made it all the way to Lesson 10 of Course 2. So my next task is to write my first blog on the site here. It's been quite a learning experience. I'm very proud of the website I've created and the posts. It looks very professional. Feel free to check it out and leave some comments. It's: boatingnavigator.com My main purpose just like everyone else here is to be able to make some extra money and while I haven't done that yet with my site, I can see the benefit of learning everything that needs to be setup in advance to prepare for that next part. The training seems like it's going slow but it's really learning lots of new things that is going to be very important down the road. My goals for the next few months is to get some income coming in from my site. I don't know how much is reasonable because I've never done this before and I don't know how high my webpage will actually rank on the search engines. I'm hoping they rank high by following all the instructions here. That's all I have for now so thanks for reading my blog. I don't know what it means to add a minimum of 2 tags so I'm just playing with it. Hopfully I did it right. success at wealthy affiliate

Hi Jim - nice start to your site - nice writing. Just one small comment (see if any one else says the same) - I found the font size a little small. :) Beverley
The purpose of adding tags is: it will be a keyword when someone searching for it on the "Need help" input bar up top.
It sounds like you and I are at about the same point in the lessons. I really like how thoroughly you covered statute vs nautical miles, and look forward to seeing what other topics you cover. You have a great start.
I took another look at your site because of the comments about text being small. While a little smaller than the text on mine (http://www.iSmellBBQ.com), it was fully readable, even on an iPhone.

Hi Jim. Congrats on your progress. I like your site. I agree with Beverley that the font size might be a bit small for some visitors. I had to zoom in and it was still smaller than I'm used to.
Try the free WP Edit plugin and you can set the font size when writing your posts. Well done. ~ Jude
