In order to be successful, you must believe in yourself. Many of us talk ourselves out of doing things because we are afraid we will fail. Sometimes, even before we start, we begin to doubt our abilities to learn something new.
I tell myself daily that "I can do this"; and I tell myself that "I am smart and I am confident".
I love the quote "If you believe it, you can achieve it." Belief is everything.

Negative thoughts still pop into my head periodically, but I do my best to shew them away immediately.
I start each day by reading motivational quotes on Twitter. The more positive material we feed into our brains, the more confident we become.
In addition to filling your brain with positive thoughts, put a smile on your face. Even if you work at home, comb your hair and put on something presentable. That can boost your confidence tremendously.
Don't let other people's opinions affect you. In fact, if you know someone who is prone to negativity, don't tell them about the aspirations you have. Keep them to yourself. They will see your results soon enough.
