Music can inspire!
Hey guys just wanted to blog about something I recently found to inspire me to get motivated. Recently I just done a stint in hospital with my illness, and I was really struggling to get motivated again. Being exhausted and run down wasn't really helping either. I thought I would lie down one day and put some of my favourite tunes on.
It really made a difference and of course made me feel great, listening to some old favourites too. The moral of this story is if your lacking in motivation, try put some of your favourite music on and work away. This may not work for everyone, but it certainly lifted my spirits.
I recently got acquainted with and old friend of mine, none other than the "Prince of Darkness" Ozzy Osbourne. Now if Ozzy can't motivate me known one can! So get your rock box out or whatever you listening to your music on...and get motivated.

I also like listening to Celine Dion's "I'm Alive" it always lifts my spirits. Another one I listen to frequently is Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds' "Red Right Hand". I keep both of them on my desktop so I can play them whenever I feel like it. Music is definitely good for the soul. ~Marion
Ozzy is ace; since the early eighties there have been two bands that I have always loved and still listen to today - Black Sabbath and Depeche Mode (believe it or not) :) Nice one Craig, Paul.
I couldn't agree more. My husband worked an Ozzy concert in West Palm Beach, he had to snick in to see some of the concert, I didn't know him then or I would have been there to. Thanks for this!
Sad day when Randy passed, he was an excellent musician. That's one thing on my bucket list is to see Ozzy in concert, before he kicks it. I've probably missed the boat though.
I always, listen to music....always have, even doing homework for school. I actually went and seen Ozzy in concert when I was a teen, it was after Randy Rhoades died and he was a bit out of sorts, but still a great musician....I love Let me Hear you Scream....Lol!
Feeling better now, justing taking it day by day. Music certainly does reach your heart & soul..well said. Brought my spirits back up, unfortunately you have to lower it when listening to training video's..lol.
I suppose Ozzy isn't for everyone, I was brought up in that era..and he was big. I also listen to other favourites a bit calmer, depends what I'm in the mood for and how much work I'm doing.
I like something a wee bit calmer than Ms. Osbourne, but you make a good point about music in the background to center and calm one so you can work more productively. Good Luck!
I agree with you Carla. Yanni`s music inspires me a lot and sooths my mind. I feel utter harmony when I listen to each one of his songs.

Very talented singer Celine Dion, one of the most powerful voices I heard over the years..that's for sure. "My heart will go on" is a favourite of mine.
