All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy...

Hey guys the subject line says it all yes. We can all get stuck in that phase when working on our blogs or websites, trust me taking a break from it and doing something fun or relaxing your mind can refresh the mind and soul. I call it blogger logging, we all want to get our websites to a point where we are giving people value and getting traffic to our sites.

Don't get into a rhythm where you are just focusing on your business and missing the fun things in life. Maybe you can spend some quality time with your family or do something fun for yourself. I think it's very important to have a good balance between your work and life in general. Personally I do meditation, but I understand that's not for everybody. Having said that, it does put things in perspective though.

So if you need to take a break from your training, website or anything related, take that break because in the long run It's going to be better for you and your business.

Best Wishes

Craig

Right on, Craig. My first day of the week, Sunday is my day of rest. Meditation, hug a tree, talk with friends and family, do some pleasure reading. ^_~

I'm not sure about the hugging of trees Caylynn..lol.

There is a whole holistic niche on how to hug a tree. For real.
'Go hug a tree' is Ozzie slang to get outside with nature or go for a walk outside. But I do have a special tree I hug when I need a break, then I sit down and read a book there. Have seen many a butterfly sitting under a tree. LOL. ^_~

Well said Craig, Hit that point at the weekend, backed off and did something else and it worked. Hope you are having a good Tuesday mate. Tim

Hey Andy I meant to say my wife planted and I supervised with a beer in my hand..lol, that was my break.

I took my break this weekend. Stayed away from this from Friday to Monday. Some refreshed since I have over 150 messages to look at.

I'm definitely with you there Chris, took a break done some gardening and slowly answered a lot of questions in between doing tasks.

Nice short & snappy piece here Craig. I think we could all use a gentle reminder from time to time... Or indeed a graphically shocking one - employing help from Jack (playing Jack), a touch of j-enious

just looked in the mirror, I have grown a beard...LOL, back to the running tomorrow, thanks for the reminder, Andy

I took a break yesterday and replanted my whole front garden, just felt good to be doing something different. I did pay for it physically though..lol.

that is a break? there is a crease in your map right there friend!

I agree with you Craig.. "the best time to let go something is when you need it the most"

You are very right in that you have to find the right balance for yourself. Too much of something will just cause burnout and in this business that is a very bad thing.
