Hi Guys

I am getting alot of traffic but not the sales to match, over the weekend i had over 2000 come through the website but only had 8 orderes. Is there any training

I'm wondering this, too. I know this is an area I need to improve upon because I believe my conversions are a bit too low percentage-wise.

Where is most of your traffic coming from? One thing I have thought of is that 90% of my traffic is from Pinterest. Pinterest in general is a higher bounce rate than some other traffic sources due to the nature of the platform (lots of people will click the pin to verify it is indeed what it says it is, but then they will pin it to read later and that may or may not happen).

I'm thinking to start seeing more conversions, I need to start ranking higher in google because those searches are more targeted. But the traffic I am getting from organic searches has a high bounce rate, too. But it's only a couple per day for me at this point and across different articles, so it's hard to draw conclusions.

There is also lots of talk and a bit of training on the sales funnel. I am planning to go back and review that myself and try to make sure I am writing my posts in a way that targets the people ready to buy.

One struggle I'm finding in my niche is that while there are plenty of low competition keywords, the search volumes aren't that high for them, either. I've heard that greater than 100 searches and less than 100 QSR is preferable, but I find it difficult to find keywords that meet those requirements. I always go under 100 QSR, but some of the search volumes are less than 50. That is something I want to target more precisely going forward, too.

Sorry my advice isn't better. Just sharing what I'm planning to look into to see if I can find things that will make a difference.

the whole of the training about writing and also about keyword research is all to do with sales conversions. What niche are you working in?

How to turn traffic in to sales ?

Hi

I'm interested in drop shipping WA team gave me some great training with the affiliate side of things and i'm still going through the training my question is do you

You cannot use any serious plugin for this, there is not enough memory allowed at WA. You will need another hosting.

There are many links under that subject you can review. Other links have been provided to you in the other comments here, I see. If you go to the top of the page where it says "Need help? Ask your question here...." and type in "drop shipping" there are several links that pop up for that subject.

Wishing you all the best.

Yvette

Here you go, enjoy the training: WA offer the ability for you to create ~50 websites. Feel free to use any number of those to promote products as either a "dropshipper" or affiliate. You can simply use plugins to make life easier for listing/managing product (if you wish).

Thank you

Such plugins need over 120 MB of memory to run properly and this cannot be run at WA hosting.

There are several plugins that can be used to manage "store-front" type content that will run just fine at WA :)

Give me some which you have checked and know for sure that they work. Good tools of that type need three times more memory than what we have available at this hosting, and this is 41 MB total.

I used simple PayPal cart that worked fine, Orilla cart - that also worked fine.. maybe the biggies need higher PHP memory limit but if you’re looking to keep costs down there’s certainly plenty of simple alternatives.

So as I see for the Orilla plugin, this was for manual adding of products to the site, no API involved. Cannot see any video about it on YouTube, very strange.

I was thinking about more advanced tools like WooZone and similar where everything is more or less automated for a true dropshipping where orders go to AliExpress or Amazon directly. Thank you in any case.

Yeah it just depends what kind of budget you’re at. If you’re happy to do it free & manual there’s stuff you can get started with here at WA - however if you’re going the whole hog then as you say you’ll likely need a more specific setup elsewhere.

I believe WA has functions like cURL closed off too meaning any API that requires an outgoing request (unless it is purely postback) would fail to work here.

Yes this with API I experienced with EasyAzon, it did not work, had to remove it from hundreds of posts. But I know for sure that some people with hosting here are using it and it works. I am testing a couple of plugins which use API and they seem to work.

Curious about the tools you mentioned - how did you add images? The only legal way for Amazon case is through API. Were you able to add Amazon's codes for images (with links)?

I know that this is not possible to do with the simple WooCommerce plugin, I mean to add as the featured image. So there is no way around this, for Amazon case.

Sounds tedious! And yeah it's possible that some alternatives are enabled - so whilst cURL may be disabled, other methods such as file_get_contents (purely as an example) may be enabled... But if you're reliant on that level of functionality then as you say, sometimes it is easier just to host elsewhere rather than faff around making tweaks & what not.

I didn't use Amazon - in fact I wasn't even dropshipping personally - I just had experience with the plugins from past projects. In terms of easily managing product content inside of WP, they can do that - beyond that IDK.

Thank you

You're welcome!

Hi All

I have added some images to website on the sidebar which im pleased with but above on of my post UNCATEGORIZE has a appeared and i can seem to get rid of it can

Do you have a website url or a screenshot?

Read this

As John said, it is a default wordpress category. If you not assigned your post to a category, wordpress will assign it to the default 'uncategorise' category. Edit the post and put it to a category (you can create a new category).

If you don't want the category to appear in the url, you need to change the permalink to something without the category.
Go to your dashboard > setting > permalink > and choose your permalink as htpps:/ yourdomain.com/sample post.

Hope that helps.

Joe :)

it sounds like you haven't put your post into a category. AS a standard, unless you select a category - all of your posts will go into the uncategorised pile.
check out this training. if this isn't what you are on about, let me know.
thanks
