Avoid my mistake using Slideshare and reap the benefits
So I wrote a short article focused on a good keyword and put it on Slideshare in March 2010. I completed my Slideshare profile and totally forgot about it until recently.
The good news is that over the last 4 years this article has received nearly 31,000 views without any promoting at all on my part!
The bad news is that I somehow forgot to embed any links back to my website and have gotten very little actual traffic, grrrrrr.
It is clear to me that this seems like a good potential resource for traffic and exposure so I'm planning on putting up a few more articles and possibly a powerpoint presentation as well.
Have you used Slideshare? What's your experience been like?

Great Karl! Make sure you read through the FAQs before you post your article--it looks like you're not allowed to use live links until after the 3rd page so you'd need to make sure to post something with significant content. Hope it works well for you. :)
