well slap my face with a wet kipper
I have been away from (Heidi's words) Campus all day, been out and about, arrived back at my desk logged in and walked into the community cafe and guess what. I am really happy to say I am now ranked 89...I am chuffed to bits
Not sure how that happened, but it did , it has and a lot of the reason I am at 89 is because the community are so incredibly engaging, so its actualy easy for me to keep vigilant knowing my family will be in attendance, this alone will encourage me attend lecrures, to head to the Gym, the pool, the cafe, training and all other things at the WA univerity its all down to you guys, my WA family.
A lot has happened this week at the university and some of my fellow students have had well deserved good news. Whilst I am not at the dizzy heights of Ambassador I am never the less thrilled to bits to be under 100 and 89 is not too shabby.
Sorry its short but I am heading off to bed just wanted to do a quick update..

Now, this wet kipper I had to look up on Google and to tell you the truth I still do not fully understand it.
Never mind, good for you, 89 for sure is not shabby, it is a pretty number.

Ha ha, it’s just a silly expression, meaning I don’t believe it slap me with something (kipper) to show I’m not dreaming. Mad I know....apologies in advance.

Ha ha, oh we do have some very odd phrases, which are used in constant use, and yet we often don’t know from where they came....usually naval....
But here’s one that all brits use often and yet you and other normal people may not have a clue.
“Chin Wag”
Actually I genuinely am off for a good old chin wag with some friends in Brighton......this morning...👍👍👍
By the way, I went to school in Westgate on Sea in 1966 and visited Southampton many times while working on a Russian cruise ship in 1978.
