UMMM????? Wealthy Affiliate
Has anyone else received an "UNKNOWN" phone call wondering how Wealthy Affiliate is working out for them? I received a phone call from a Male individual this evening. Must have been very well educated and every other word was UMMM.
Was inquiring how WA was working out for me, and seeing if I am having any luck. I asked what are you selling? Male said, "Well ummm, SINCE YOU AREN'T HAVING ANY LUCK ON WA, I am selling 5 affiliate websites for the price of one, all u have to do is put up pictures and post articles. UMMMMM, I told him I appreciate the phone call but I wasn't interested. There were no more UMMMM's, he just hung up and UMMMM never said bye :-(
Did anyone else get, UMMMMMM phone call?

I imagine it happens because people have not used WhoIs Guard and their public details are now out there on the net from when they've purchased their own domain. http://www.internic.net/whois.html I'm guessing these people are searching for any sites with the DNS of WA Members who host here. Just a general word of warning, many people provide the exact same details that apply to their billing when purchasing a domain name, if you're not using WhoIs Guard and do that, you are in effect opening yourself up to identity theft, ie. if you are cold-called or receive a mail-shot with an offer that appeals, and you provide credit card or bank details, you're giving a potential thief a lot of the pieces of the jigsaw they need to steal your identity. Rich.
