My Favorite Plug In, Birthday, And Overall Progress

Time is so elusive, I haven't had a chance to say hello to you all in a while. Needless to say for the Month of May, I will be focused on Time Management. As a matter of fact, I am thinking about seeing how I can incorporate my content and social media strategies into a cool Bullet Journal Spread.

At any rate, I wanted to give everyone an update as to what I have accomplished the past month now that I am approaching my month mark as a member of WA. (I am as thrilled now as I am when I joined, by the way).

When I came to Wealthy Affiliate, I'd been going it alone with a blog I build myself. Since then, that site has been totally revamped and has seen an increase in engagement and I am ranking for really great terms like Forex, Lesbian Blogs, Promote on Instagram ... it's a nicheless site, but everyday I work to make it more efficient in its nichelessness if that make sense.

Today is my birthday and if you know anything about Aries, you know we are not really good at sticking with things. Right after I joined, I built this really cool site with a lot of potential and now it is just sitting there idle. For the month of May, I've already noted that I am going to finish up that site. It's a great idea, I have a ton of information, and I know I can do it ... however, I've learned that you have to take your time and without a plan you are only working against yourself.

A week ago, I was on a rampage because I found out I was a millennial. After doing a lot of research, I realized a voice was missing in the niche. Like an Aries would, I built another site. So, I have my hands full. I must admit, the latest site I built is doing better than the 2 previous. Why, because I am really better at this stuff than I was when I first got here. I have a system, I have repeatable routines and I have a few things that work that I continue to use. With that said:

I use Yoast SEO plugin on all of my sites and it is really a game changer when you couple it with what we learn about creating beautiful posts.

I also use SUMO plug in for my share buttons and I'd like to use it more, but I need time to play with the apps. I do encourage everyone to check it out. They have a list building thing that I believe their claim it will increase opt ins by 20%. Yes, for May I am going to focus on list building starting with my first and oldest site ... she is ready.

Have you ever heard of Snip.ly? Well check it out. It is a really good way to curate content while sharing your own at the same time. It is extremely sneaky and professional at the same time. Trust me. You are going to love it and your links will get more juice. Be sure to swing back here and tell me what you think. (It isn't a plug in)

When it comes to traffic generation, I spend a lot of time on Quora just shooting the breeze.

I will be back sooner than later. Also, I use the Sydney Theme on 2 of my sites. It is highly responsive. I was using it on my first site and I noticed that my bounce rate on my home page stays under 13% which I think is awesome. I am using it on my newest site. The Sydney theme offers a call to action widget!!! You cannot beat that!!!
