Month 1

Finishing the first Month in the Super Affiliate Challenge has been, quite a challenge! Seeing that I have been concentrating on my niche website so long, diving into something completely different has been difficult.

Writing Posts

It seems that my fears have been getting the best of me lately. Whenever I start a new post of Affiliate Programs for beginnners, I research for hours. When I see all the information that is already out there, a little devil sits on my shoulder and whispers "you can not compete with this." Has anyone else felt this way? I know that this is only the first month, and it is a years committment and I will learn much along the way, but how to I quell my nagging fears?

I Write Slow

So I write very slow, I have always been like this. On average it takes me 3 to 4 days to complete a ' meaty post' (between 2500- 3500 words). Needless to say, but so far I only have 4 posts for my challenge. Does anyone have any great recommendations on how to speed up the process.

I am my own worse critic, and I always like the post that I publish to be the best it can be. Maybe I am defeating myself and time management?

Something Extra

I do have to say, that all the time that I have been working this month, I have had so many Entreprenearial visions. As someone who has a scientific type of mind, and not really that business savy, this is a huge new improvement in my mind set, if I may say so myself!

I was thinking about creating a site for my husband. He likes to build costumes for cosplay conventions. What finally pushed the idea on me, was just this last week, someone reached out to him via Instagram and asking for his autograph!

This got me curious, so I punched in the name of his character in Google Search and wouldn't you know that there were several pictures of him in costume on the first page.

We got to talking and he showed me all of the photographers that have been tagging him with their photos. He already has a presence online, without having to do really anything.

Calfornia Super Bloom on the Beach

My photo up above, is my favorite picture that I took when explore the coast to witness all of the plants and flowers associated with the super bloom that we are having here. I took the time yesterday to finish a post on my niche website. It seemed like I was able to do it faster, seeing that I knew what I was writing about. Boy, did it feel good to finish it up in one day :-)

Webmaster?

Another idea I had was concerning my brother-in-laws business website. He hired someone over three years ago to make a webpage, but it is awful! I told him I could make him a cool one over at Wealthy Affiliate.

How would this work exactly? I told him to take a look at WA and tell me what he thinks. If I was to make him a site, would he have to be a member to get into the back office or is that a Wordpress issue?

Well here is to another day of working on the Super Afffiliate Challenge!

Thank you for reading my post and good luck to you all!

PS Spellcheck is not working today.

Yes we are our own worst enemies!
I think you write wonderfully, no matter how long it takes. Everyone is good at something but no one is good at everything!
Keep doing what you’re doing.
I built a site for my son’s business as one of the 25 we’re allowed, you can do the same for your husband.
All the best!

No if you ate making him a site has a premium we can have 25 domains and 25 free hosted
You can make him one and give him access to the site in wordpress

I also write slowly both fiction and fact. I always have. It can seem annoying when you would like your brain to work more quickly. On the plus side, you tend to remember the details of what you wrote for a longer period of time when you work slowly.

Still, practice does help and you might find your writing speeds up somewhat over time.

Yes, I have gotten much quicker in my writing, but in comparison to others, I will always be on the slower side, and that is ok. Practice, practice, and more practice.
