Do You Still Use Aluminum Foil, Pots and Pans?

A few weeks ago a friend sent me a YouTube video warning about the dangers of ingesting Aluminum and the risk of Alheimers Disease.

No doubt the video scared the hell out of me and I did have a second look to see if there was any foil or aluminum cookware in my pantry.

The video also started research on the topic.

It would appear it all started in 1970 when a Canadian researcher published a study stating that he had found high levels of aluminum in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients.

Aluminum is widely used in the food industry, foil, pot and pans and cans; It is also found in the earth, and plants grow in the earth, it is also found in drinking water and the air you breathe.

Did you know that aluminum is also found in Foods

Drinking water

The air you breathe

Dirt in your garden and surroundings

Sodas in cans

Baking soda

Sunscreens. Toothpastes and deodorants

Cosmetics

Commercial cake mixes

Antacids, aspirin and counter medicines

Aluminum is found in the earth, plants grow in the earth, foods comes from plants.

Is this a case of "too much information is too much information". If you see the list of foods that contain Aluminum, you might not know what you eat; one of my favorite fruits is among them -kiwi.

Only this morning a customer asked me "how long does it take to carve one heart?" my response was “I really do not know and do not wish to know, If I knew I might have to raise the price, or not make them at all.

Needless to say as always, there is not sufficient research to substantiate the dangers of cooking with aluminum foil or pots and pans to your health.

What we need is substantial research by visionary scientists who are not concerned about "big business.

Happy to say some manufacturers has taken steps to upgrade their products to lessen the risk of the apparent danger to your health.
