How to Resize Images On a Blog Post

Even when I crop Images on a blog post, they are far too large; what is the correct process to have the images on a blog post an acceptable size.

Editing is possible in writing Content, but not sure of the process on a blog. you can crop but not reduce the complete image

anyone experiencing the same issue?

What I know is that it helps in your publication of posts particularly on images.
So far I haven't encountered issues on images.

You can go to your images and resize it there. Or I am able to 'grab a corner' of the image in the post and just resize it there. The best is to resize it in your media area. Edit > put in a smaller value under Scale. You'll see what I mean..

I think the ones for in posts or Featured Image work great at width about 640 px.
