Here's a little update on my affiliate progress with WA.

After 3months in I have definitely learned a lot , It has been a lot harder than I first thought ....especially with creating posts.

So after 24 posts in I can safely say that i am comfortable in writing articles, setting up affiliate programs, adding photos, external / internal links.

Amazon set up complete aswell as others.

Google set up & indexed on 9 posts

Facebook 3 posts Instagram 3 posts Pinterest 3 posts Twitter 2 posts.

I'm guessing I keep blasting all of these social media platforms with my posts & in time this will hopefully create sales?

I will keep following the training & see what happens

Has anyone been doing affiliate marketing for a year & not made anything ?

You asked

"Has anyone been doing affiliate marketing for a year & not made anything ?"

You can't base any success or failure comparisons on such a question.

I would venture many don't make anything in a year. Not because the system doesn't work. There are to many factors involved.

Was the keyword research done right? Without that part nailed down, masterpiece articles will never get seen.

Is the writing any good? If you do the keyword research right but the writing sucks they will move on. They call this bounce rate, usually because the visitor didn't identify with the post. Often this is because the post didn't answer what they were looking for.

In your post, did you shape it to draw in and answer a buyers intent, or a tire kickers intent?

Posting frequency? The more posts you make, potentially the more traffic you can get.

These and many other factors play a part in this.

You might try posting to ask if any of the longer term successful members would look at your site. Don't post the link in your post if you do. If anyone agrees you would then send them the link to your site.

Regards,

Jason
