Operation: Vegas 2020 - October Update

Happy Halloween! I love Halloween, how about you guys? Anyway, since it's the last day of the month, I wanted to give you all a quick update on my Operation: Vegas 2020 progress.

The last time I wrote it was October 12. I had very little traffic coming in, and it was mostly from Wealthy Affiliate people. I had a decent amount of blog posts written, but my goal was to do 30 by the end of the month.

Traffic Update

My traffic is still mostly from Wealthy Affiliate people leaving comments on my site. BUT, I do see some progress happening here. I'm getting a few organic hits and clicks into my site. My rankings are improving. I even have a post on page 1!

Here's what my traffic looked like in September before I really started down this Vegas path. I had a few posts up about books and whatnot. There really wasn't much on my site at the time.

Here's what's happening this month. Is it earth shattering? No! Is it improving. Yea! I just expect more and more improvements as time goes on and I get more content up.

Content Update

For the month of October, I had a goal to write and publish 30 articles. I *just* missed it slightly. Overall, I'm happy with this number and even happier that all 27 articles have been indexed. (Thanks to Jay's awesome training!)

November Goals

For November, I'm going to just keep on writing until my fingers bleed. 30 articles per month is a little tough to do, I'm realizing. And with Thanksgiving come up later in the month, I'll be doing a little traveling so it would be even togher to get all 30 done.

However, I'm making it my goal to get at least 25 articles written and published. I can do it!

I don't have any other goals for November, really. I just want to focus on more content and getting more traffic and better rankings.

At some point in the very near future (possibly this month), I'll need to focus on getting an autoresponder going. I don't have enough traffic to worry about it yet, but it's in the back of my mind to start thinking about it for sure.
