A Good Dilemma!

Scenario:

You're trying to drive traffic to your website and you know one way to capture those visitors (and potential customers) is to create a list. You have a nice sign up form with a free eBook to entice them as well as a promise of a monthly newsletter, then what happens. People start signing up!!

They've called your bluff and now you need to take action.

They like what you've produced thus far but they want more and if you want to keep the people on the list, you have to come up with the goods. Quality original content!

A list is a very important and potentially lucrative commodity and to keep the people on the list and grow their trust for future promotions, they need to feel that the information that you are giving them is not only relevant but also focused on their needs.

Solution... Have A Plan!

Make a 3 months horizon, so that you have a reserve of information and articles that you can quickly put together each month in case you're busy on another project and unable to put the time in. You can always replenish this stock when you have time. But don't just sit back and use this reserve up, replenish it whenever you get the chance.

Each newsletter should consist of an update on what's been happening with your website / niche as well as 2/3 articles. The articles only need to be a synopsis (circa 150 words) with a 'Read More..." link to the article on your website. You don't want to send out a long wordy e-Mail, give your subscriber the choice on what they would like to read. Make them feel the love!

Warning!: Try to create the articles yourself or get them outsourced. If you must use PLR, then make sure that the page it's on had 'NOINDEX' so your site isn't penalised by the search engines for having non original content.
