A Facebook post just reached 11,049 people. Mind blown.

Wow oh wow. So I'm doing Course 4 at the moment, which is all about using Social Media to engage with people. I've been trucking along / dragging my feet (delete as appropriate) because let's be honest, I don't hang out on social media much.

I had a my Google+ page up first and I got the AddThis sharing plugin (Share Buttons by AddThis), and got used to sharing my posts there. I immediately started noticing some familiar faces liking my content and that feels great, I like that I'm making some people happy.

Then just recently as part of Course 4 I'm suddenly on Pinterest and Twitter and Tumblr and Facebook and I started sharing to those... maybe it was the tweet I sent to @GuildWars2 that triggered what happened next on Facebook. Because, I write some of my content for Guild Wars 2, and the actual developer shared one of my posts to all of their 1.1 million followers. So, just a few hours later Facebook was telling me one of my posts has reached over 11,000 people thanks to social media... wow. Wow!

Going from a feeling of obscurity to suddenly "a lot of people are reading my stuff" is a real buzz. All of this is thanks to Wealthy Affiliate's training because I would be nowhere without it.
