Choosing my niche

I'm thinking out loud now. What about a group of people about ready to retire, say age 50 to 70. They are wondering if their estate plan (if they have one) is going to accomplish its purpose. Do they need to revisit the goals of the plan? Will the plan allow the goals to be met? If they don't have a plan, do they need one? I'd appreciate any comments.
