A Billion Dollars
A simple question, what would you do if had a billion dollars? Ok, a couple of simple rules. No one but you knows that suddenly $1,000,000,000 was deposited into your checking account and you can use it and spend it anyway you want. I think I would do something like this. My granddaughter Myranda has cystic fibrosis. She wasn't supposed to reach age 10. The Stanford Children's Hospital flew from Palo Alto to Eureka, CA in a life-flight jet, picked up Myranda and flew her back to the hospital. There was a doctor and two registered nurses on that plane and no one ever charged us a dime. We would drive from Eureka to Stanford, a 7 hour drive, to visit her and she would show us around. There were pictures of patients on the walls and she would point at one and say, "That's my friend", and I would say, "Oh, where is he now?" and she would answer, "Yes, he is dead". So many children so sick.y granddaughter is 19 years old now, she has a BS in Biology and is enrolled in Vetenary Medicine. I would give her the money to pay for her schooling, she wouldn't accept any more. I would make a huge donation Stanford Children's Hospital, $10,000,000. I would give my kids and grandkids $100,000 each and then establish a fund if they needed anything in the future. I would pay off my friend's houses and cars and I would make them travel to really cool places with me. I love animals so I would create a foundation for sick and homeless animals. I know what a powerful place the forest and wilderness are, I would buy and create a camp for boys and girls of all ages and fund it forever. I am a veteran and I have seen veterans with physical, mental and emotional disabilities. I would make a large, reaccuring donation to Wounded Warrior Foundation. By this time I would be so happy, all I need is an apartment and food. Another group of people that could use help are the surviving family members of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Each time I gave something, it would be like a gift to myself. What would you do with your $1,000,000,000?

Maybe I do a bit similar as you do, but first of all, I need to donate some of it to all Calamity victims like typhoon Odette and some other calamities like Tornados and earthquakes.

Those are some noble work and I do
greatly commend you and applaud you
for all those charitable acts you have
mentioned.
We really didn't have to wait to have that
type of money to start doing what you have
said.
We could do them right now and start in
our little ways and then increase them as
the need arises.
My purposes in life are already engraved ib
my heart and I am doing them as I write this.
As I said we can start right now with what we
have and then continue to carry on our noble
tasks for our own highest good and the good
of mankind.
Thank you so much, Chuck.
The force is within you.
Peace and blessings to you.

Yes. you are absolutely right, we could begin many projects that would start to make life for everyone better. I would refuse to donate to any group that had rules for membership that restricted, either overtly or covertly, anyone's right to join. There is no place for anything.that limits a person's right to participate in society. If there is no place to hide, there is no reason to lie. Truthfully, I think the sooner we begin the better. The divisions, the polarizations in society are alarming and I believe we need to do something significant to protect the future of our democracy.
Every single human being was gifted
when they were created and it is up
to each individual to be aware, honest
and responsible for themselves, the
families, the society around them and
the country they live in.
Everyone should come together in
peace collectively and thus be more
engaged as a decent community with
missions and vision for the good of all
concerned.
The best time to do it is right now and
not a moment after.
You can start wherever you are and as
you proceed you can affect one person
and that one person can affect another
and so on and so forth.
So, the question is, "Are you willing to
start now?
Thank you, Chuck.
