New Yearly Membership is only $8 More Expensive
Just thought I would do my shortest blog post ever, after responding to someone's question on Kyle's latest post "Premium Yearly Price Change, Innovation, & An Offer"
There is a lot of discussion today about the increase in the annual price for WA, so I thought I would break the numbers down for you :-)
The Current Pricing
Monthly = $49
Yearly = $359
If you are paying monthly, you will spend $588 per year (12 x 49)
So paying yearly, will save you $229 (588 - 359)
The New Pricing
Monthly = $49
Yearly = $495
If you are paying monthly, you will still spend $588 per year (12 x 49)
But paying yearly, only saves you $93 (588 - 495)
But Wait
People are forgetting the other advantages of the new yearly price. You also get the following:
Domain Name = $14
Credits = $50
So that means, you will actually be saving $157 every year (93 + 14 +50)
You might be thinking, ok, but that's still not the $229 currently.
Watch This
On the old annual price, where you were saving $229, you still had to purchase a Domain Name for $14 and Credits for $50 (to really give your website the boost with SiteFeedback & SiteComments
That means you were actually only saving $165 per year (229 - 14 - 50)
Compare that with the new pricing and you will now only be paying $8 more every year! (165 - 157)
That's still a good deal to me :-)
And this doesn't even take in to account the Black Friday deal that is currently on offer until 11th May at just $299
That's just a no brainer!

You make my head spin with all those acrobatic mathematics but your bottom line is that is a deal.
Sorry haha :-)
