Are you using too many plugins? - Make sure you are in the clear!
This isn't going to a very long post, however, it is very important.
Plugins are great to have, they open the door to a lot of different opportunities as far as custimization is concerned.
There are a number of useful plugins like those that create short links, redirects, customized pages, sales funnels, email pop-ups, and so on.
Here are the top two concerns you need to think about when researching new plugins though.
Don't use too many plugins...
Yes, plugins are great, however they can also slow your site speed down. Some will slow your site down more than others, so be aware of that.
Here at WA, we have a pluin indicator on each site that begins to drop in percentage when it will start negatively harming our websites. Aim to always keep it at 100%, or at the lowest 90%. We are trying to build businesses here that create a great user experience people!
Remember, if your site loads slower, you risk bouncing potential visitors that would have otherwised stayed.
Some plugins can destroy you!
Okay, maybe that was a little drastic but also not in the same. You see, there are many plugins that can completely corrupt your site and open the door to opportunity for hackers.
Some of these plugins can alone corrupt your website beyond any return. We work way too hard to do something like this to ourselves.
When researching these plugins, make sure you read several reviews, make sure they've been downloaded successfully by other users that are happy, inquire about them with us on here on the WA platform, research the internet high and low!
Those are the main two point, don't use too many plugins, and do your research thorughly before hitting that download button.
All the best,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the post. I will definitely keep in mind how many plug-ins I use.
So far I only have two but with the more that come I will make sure they don't slow down my site.
Thanks again,
Tom
