Time to come clean and admit a few things
My name is Chris Wardman and I'm a procrastinator!
Yes I said it. I procrastinate. I sit on FB or Reddit for hours at a time, scrolling through the endless noise, checking the buysell groups, clicking those tests to see which friends are on my "good or bad side". It's a waste of time, yet every night, it's a similar pattern, then bedtime so I can get some sleep before work and "back to the scrolling"!
WHY?! Why do we do this to ourselves? I mean, here I am, right now, paying y monthly fee here and I've barely completed 3 of the lessons. I want to, heck, I've even got a couple of sites in the works, but it's like pulling teeth to gain traction again and sit down to FOCUS on putting ideas into action. It's easier to go on FB and scroll aimlessly through the endless posts, worrying about how to fix my leaking roof or "trying to figure out how to earn more money" (yet... HELLO?! I have the tools, right here!). It's insanity. I am crazy! But yet, we do. We ignore things. We don't like change. We don't want to take that chance. "we are not good enough". Lots of these thoughts run through our minds, keeping us in our safe places, taking no action, just being a simple drone. Slowly, driving ourselves crazy!
If this resonates with you. I feel your pain! I hear you. I'm living this, daily. It's a struggle some days to even bother scrolling. You begin to feel guilty but you just. Cannot. Stop.
Yes, I'm a procrastinator and I have noone but myself to blame. Today, I'm taking one step forward. I'm going to create a set of goals. I must stop the pattern and if it is out in the public eye here, then I'm now held accountable.
My goal today, was to post this to my blog here. Tomorrow, I'm going to start working on the Affiliate Bootcamp courses. It's time to quit this pattern.

I kind of understand how you feel Chris. I've been a member for 9 months now and I've really struggled with the IT side of the web-site development; so much so that I seem to spend all my available time trying to sort IT rather than preparing posts for my site.
I have a day job and of course in an employee environment if you don't turn up you risk losing your job. Not turning up or doing anything is 'OK' in Affiliate or Network Marketing because the worst thing that happens is you don't earn an income (and if like me, that isn't life threatening then nothing lost?!)
What I have realized with WA is that not only is the training and development '2nd to none' but there appears to be a growing community of AM's at all stages of development with their chosen niche's and web-sites, who are only too happy to offer assistance and guidance.
What we probably need is someone standing over us giving us a 'kick up the behind' and urging as forward!! Sadly this isn't possible and so it falls on each one of us to do this ourselves!

This is one of the reasons I posted this today, to give myself a swift kick in the butt. I'm not lazy per say, just easily distracted. Yet get super frustrated at myself at the same time when I do spend hours just staring at this bloody phone (it don't help that my day job also requires that I stare at my phone).
You brought up a solid point though. It's not always super easy to just pick up your phone and start writing. There's other things that "get in the way". For a long time, for me, it was image creations. I finally solved that this week by downloading an app called TextSwag (WordSwag on iOS). I've been creating posts that I can now share on social channels, in the hopes that it generates engagement. It's a small victory but it's at least in the right direction finally :)
My wife keeps at me too. "Why are we spending that money every month if you are not using it?" She got a point of course, but I refuse to give in and just cancel. WA IS outstanding value for what we get in return. I just have to knuckle down and put it to use, properly!
