Choosing The Ultimate Niche

Something we are all taught here at Wealthy Affiliate is to choose a niche and blog about it, but what if you cannot think of a suitable niche that would work for you?

I have been pondering this question myself, as I already have a niche site, but I wanted another so I could help others on a similar journey towards making money, either on-line or off. I tried different variations of keywords so I could build with a great domain name. Something that would work for me. But I've spent way too long trying to come up with anything suitable.

Then it hit me. Why re-invent the wheel?!

People do business with people they trust! I'm positive that the majority of people reading this right now, have a very healthy FB presence. You share things about your day, your family, your children. The amount of back to school posts on FaceBook today is crazy! This is all great and all, but when was the last time you earned any money sharing that stuff on FaceBook?!

This is what clicked for me. I already share this stuff. I already have a healthy personal profile AND a professional FB Page with 150 followers. I post anything between humourous posts, to life lessons to the information I'm already putting on my niche site. But I have more I could share. My successes. My failures. What I'm struggling with, what I'm enjoying. While my friends know most of the things I have shared, many others don't. And this applies to ALL of us!

Don't think you have a passion to share? Think of this! When was the last time you talked someone's ear off about something? Or maybe you took some time to learn a new skill and you want to share that with others. Perhaps you can garden or you have an infatuation with a tv show or celebrity. THESE ARE PASSIONS! If you cannot find just one thing to talk about, then create a niche about YOU!

Bottom line. If you cannot figure out ONE niche, BECOME the niche! You have more value to share with the world than you think and EVERYONE loved reading about other people's lives. Look at Soap Operas or shows like Big Brother, The Bachelor etc etc
