My WA Progress
Hi again!
A lot of things have happened since my last post. I decided on my niche, went premium, bought a domain and started building my site. I’m going through the training and learning a lot.
I ‘m targeting English learners. My site is ahelpinghandforenglishlearner.com. It will be dedicated to giving advice, tips, and mini-lessons. I would also like to include a section for ESL/EFL students who love to write giving them the opportunity to have their short stories posted and to receive comments and advice from readers.
I’ve just completed Certificate training 2 and am excited to be starting level 3 where I will learn how to monetize my site.
So far I have 5 pages and 6 posts with some comments. I’m indexed by Google, so, I guess I’m on my way.
For the next few months, I plan to continue learning and to create more contents. By then, I will have enough posts and traffic to start adding affiliate links and hopefully beginning earning some income.
It’s now the end of February so that plan will take me up to the beginning of June. If it all works out, I hope to be seeing some steady income, no matter how small, from July till the end of the year.
As of April, I will be getting pretty busy since the school year begins and I will be taking on some part-time work teaching EFL. Thus, the lessons and my site will take a little longer to develop, that’s why I’m giving it until the end of the year.
Well, that’s it for now. Let’s see how things turn out.

What a great niche. I used to work as a school librarian for a school that was in a border-town (Nogales, AZ). Most of my students were ESL and we had an ESL teacher come in once a week and work with the students.
Also, I think you can also have an area on your site for teachers and how to help the ESL student succeed in the mainstream classroom. Instruct teachers to use visuals when giving instructions and other useful tips that will help the ESL students.
You are doing great and have an awesome plan it place! Keith
