I'm Ecstatic
Hi all,
It's been just over 1 month since I bought my domain and started building my site in my niche for English Learners. I now have 11 posts (10 articles and 1 product review) and will be completing 2 more articles and another product review hopefully, by the end of the week. That will take me to the end of course 3.
I have started to read Course 4, lesson 1 and I'm setting up all my social media accounts; I still have to figure out how to add them to my site, though.
After posting my articles on social media, especially G+, I decided to check with google and 6 of my articles are ranked from my G+ posting on the first page. Four are in 2nd.place, one in 3rd and one in 4th position. Wow, that's 50% of my articles!. I never thought that G+ would be so important but I guess I was proved wrong.
Now, hopefully, I'll start getting some traffic and eventually some conversions.
I am having a little trouble with signing up to the affiliate programs since some are restricted in my part of the world and amazon will not take my phone number for verification. There aren't that many affiliate programs to sign up for in my niche but I'll keep investigating and writing articles, adding links to the articles and doing the courses.
I want to finish the Certification so I can start working on my WA Affiliate Bootcamp. I really need to have both sites getting traffic and some commissions by the end of 2017. That's my goal, mainly because I need to return some money I borrowed for the WA premium membership and I need to also make enough to cover next years membership and domains.
So, that's it for this post. I'm very happy with the progress. I was in fact, starting to get a bit discouraged but then I realized that my site has only been live for 1 month and now with the rankings, I'm ecstatic and encouraged to forget about conversions and my money problems and concentrate on continuing with the courses and creating quality content. I'll start worrying again in a few months if there is no change. I have to remind myself to give it time.
Well, that's it, until my next post, I hope you are all doing well and growing your businesses.
Regards,
Chris

Congratulation! For me, little step or success something is addictive, make happy and good feeling.
I think it's natural for all of us to want instant returns on our effort so. But this is the foundational phase for your site. Building it right and paying your dues now so that in the future you have great traffic and revenue.
Don't get discouraged.
You can rent out a house when only the foundation is poured right? You're building a solid foundation for your site and soon enough you'll start seeing returns.
:) congratulations on your rankings! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your comments and encouragement Eric. I'll keep working at building this site and will probably start the WA Bootcamp this year as well. My goal is to have the 2 sites up and running and producing income by the end of 2017.
