A Small Adsense Win I Wanted To Share With You!
I just checked my Adsense account and realised I finally built it up enough to cash something out. OK It aint a huge amount, but it came from an older site that has some traffic, so you know what.. Ill take it :) Its been there a while, but only noticed a couple of days ago!
To be honest I was never a big fan of Adsense. I find ads distracting a lot of the time, and I hate how they can make things look untidy. This is why I never added it to my affiliate marketing bootcamp website.
I want that site to stay organised, without banners and distracting stuff everywhere.
This Adsense account of mine is connected to an older site which is based around travel and the ads seem better off there.. and I have left it running and doing its thing.
Getting a small payout is always nice, especially when it comes from things I did a long time ago. Fine, it is not enough to change my life..but its something better than nothing right?
Anyway it was 135 Euros something... whats that.. around $150? something like that!
I thought to share this as a bit of encouragement. Sometimes these small cents can add up if you let them...
Oh and by the way, I made the mistake of telling my wife... so there it was, GONE!!! :) haha

Anything is better than nothing! You connnected Adsense to your travel website. You did not have to do any extra work. It simply worked in the background and it created income. Tha's a good win.

Congrats Chris. Every little bit counts, big or small. And I always find the smaller wins the most encouraging because they seem the most attainable and great motivation to keep taking those small steps forward. I, too, am avoiding this on my bootcamp site, but there is a travel one in my future that I think this strategy will be more suited to. Thanks for sharing your win with us.

That’s a great win, Chris. Small payouts from older work are a nice reminder that effort can keep paying off quietly in the background. That's good that you have enough AdSense money to draw out, that's always very satisfying!
I know what you are saying about the ads, it can make a website look untidy and they can be rather intrusive. My very first moneymaking website was built on AdSense income, I'm going back quite a few years, but it worked quite well. Although, I also had affiliate links on the site and a few other things to help the site earn income.
