Perplexed, Befuddled but Not Discouraged
Sometimes you just got to stop thinking about it and do it. It has been a long time that I have lightly dabbled in it and thought about it and thought about it. Now it is time to do something. My journey toward a career in online sales and marketing begins. But it is SOOOO daunting. It seems the more I read and learn about it, the more perplexed I am about how to be successful at it.
One of my issues is that I lack patience and discipline. But the one thing that I have in my favor is that I am keen on following a system. Wealthy Affiliate seems to have a system style that potentially works well for me. I start at the beginning and work till the end. I don't always understand why I am not learning about something that I know exists, but so far I am confident in the system that I will eventually get to that part of the training. It's all good.
When I decided to venture into this area, I spoke to my wife about a 3 year plan. Funny story. We have been married for almost 20 years. Yeah! And it is my second marriage. Well on our 19 anniversary she told she wants to move. Oh yeah, I said. Where? She says "I don't know". And hence the development of this plan. We both are entrepreunarial by nature. Myself, I own an outdoor lighting company and have an interest in a landscape company. She is a commissioned sales person and does real estate photography on the side. Our clients are here and moving out of this area means leaving the clients behind and starting over. Nope, don't want to do that. But ... as I have always dreamed of, having an online business means have laptop will travel. So if she wants to move, it will take 3 years to get all of our "ducks" in a row, renovate the house, save up more cash and find a place to move. Now I know she wants to move closer to South Carolina...yuk. Me, closer to the Chesapeake Bay. We'll have to see.
In summation, I am stoked to be going for it, I so far am finding value in WA and I will Survive...no wait that's a song. I will prevail. If you want it big enough, a person will find a way to make it happen.
Oh yea, and I always believe in the KISS principal. Anybody know what that is?

I know how you feel but you are right to trust the WA system. It has value for me too and I can "see" how it can work. Thanks for sharing your story and I believe you and your wife will make your move a reality. The best to you.

When I first started out I was pretty sure I knew all the “Secrets”, but as it turns out I didn’t.
No problem though since WA has probably the best system in place for literally anyone!

You are in the right place. I have trouble with both patience and discipline as well and the training takes care of that if you follow it to the letter. Do not skip lessons or action items. You should do well here.
